Your guide to setting up and operating your Vision AI Module V2

The Grove - Vision AI V2 is a highly efficient MCU-based smart vision module driven by the Himax WiseEye2 HX6538 processor. It features a dual-core Arm Cortex-M55 and an integrated Arm Ethos-U55 neural network component. This module integrates Arm Helium technology, which is finely optimized for vector data processing, enabling a significant uplift in DSP and ML capabilities without compromising on power consumption. This makes it ideal for battery-powered applications.

Note: The Grove Vision AI V2's Part List does NOT include a camera. To utilize all features, a CSI camera must be acquired separately. We recommend the OV5647-62 FOV Camera Module for Raspberry Pi. Alternatively, it may be available as a bundle on the product page.

The SenseCraft AI platform is designed to simplify AI model training and deployment with a no-code/low-code approach. It natively supports Seeed products, ensuring that trained models are fully adaptable to your Grove - Vision AI Module V2.

  • Raspberry Pi/ESP Boards: Connect via UART or SPI for data exchange. Develop custom code in Python (for Raspberry Pi) or C++/MicroPython (for ESP boards) to interact with the module's AI capabilities.
