4. Setup

4.1 Instalasi baterei

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the main body of the angle finder.

  3. Insert two 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

4.2 Attaching the Extension Leg

The angle finder comes with an extendable leg for increased measurement range.

  1. Align the extension leg with the slot on the main body of the angle finder.
  2. Slide the extension leg into place until it is securely seated.
  3. The extension leg features both metric and inch markings for direct measurement.

5. Instruksi Operasi

5.1 Pangukuran amba dhasar

  1. Tekan ing On / Off / Zero tombol ( ① ) to power on the device. The backlit LCD will display the current angle.
  2. Open the angle ruler by moving the hinged leg. The display will show the angle between the main body and the hinged leg.
  3. Position the angle finder against the surfaces you wish to measure. Ensure both legs are flush with the surfaces for accurate readings.
  4. The measurement range is 0° to 220°.

5.2 Fungsi Tombol

  • On/Off/Zero ( ① ): Press to power on/off. A short press while on will set the current angle to 0.0° (Relative Zeroing).
  • Tahan: Press to freeze the current angle reading on the display. Press again to release.
  • 180°: Press to display the supplementary angle (180° minus the measured angle).
  • MTR (Miter Mode): Press to calculate the miter angle for single cuts. The display will show the required miter saw setting.
  • COM (Compound Bevel Cutting Mode): Press to calculate compound miter angles.

5.3 Using the Locking Knob

The red locking knob is located at the pivot point of the angle finder.

  • To secure an angle, turn the locking knob clockwise until the leg is held firmly.
  • To adjust the angle, turn the locking knob counter-clockwise to loosen.
  • Cathetan: The tightener knob provides mechanical stability but is not designed to hold the angle for measurement transfer with absolute rigidity. Always verify the angle after locking if precise transfer is critical.

5.4 Using the Bubble Levels

The angle finder includes two bubble levels:

  • One horizontal bubble level for checking level surfaces.
  • One vertical bubble level for checking plumb surfaces.
  • Use these in conjunction with the digital display for comprehensive leveling and angle finding tasks.
