3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your knitting machine before first use:

1. Pasang Kaki: Locate the four brackets (legs) and the four screws. Align each bracket with the corresponding screw hole on the underside of the knitting machine. Use the included screwdriver to securely fasten the legs.

2. Pilih Mode: Set the machine to either 'P' (Plain Knit) or 'T' (Tube Knit) depending on your project.
3. Initial Threading (Casting On):
   • Ensure the first needle is in the hook position and the second needle is behind the hook.
   • Thread the yarn into the yarn guide and then through the tension hole of your choice. There are four tension options (loose, moderate, tight, tightest) to match your yarn density and desired fabric.
   • Slowly turn the handle. For the first round, alternate wrapping the yarn around the front of one needle and then behind the next. This creates the initial cast-on row.
4. Continuous Knitting: Once the first round is complete, ensure the yarn is properly seated in the yarn holder and tension guide. Continue turning the handle clockwise. The machine will automatically pick up the yarn and knit.
5. Using the Row Counter: The row counter is located on the side of the machine. It automatically tracks the number of rows knitted, which is particularly useful for tube knit projects. You can reset it by pressing the button below the display.
6. Casting Off: When your project reaches the desired length, you will need to cast off. This typically involves using the included needle to manually transfer loops and secure the stitches.
